Therapy for Women in Inglewood
I’m Dr. Jacquelyn Johnson, licensed psychologist and founder of Deeply Seen Psychological Services. My practice was created to help women bring faith and emotional honesty into one space, and to support them with evidence-based strategies that lead to lasting change.
How it works
Book an intro call
We’ll begin with a conversation that helps me understand what you’re facing. You’ll also see what it feels like to work with me and decide if it feels right.
Personalized, one-on-one sessions
No two sessions look alike. Each meeting follows what you bring, whether that’s emotions to process, decisions to make, or skills to strengthen.
Evidence-based therapeutic techniques
I use trusted therapeutic methods, but I translate them into tools you can apply immediately in your daily life. Progress is meant to extend beyond the session.

FAQ about my counseling services
How does virtual therapy work?
You do not need special equipment. At the time of your appointment, you click the private link I provide and join from your phone, tablet, or computer. Many women appreciate being able to talk from their own home, which often makes therapy feel more comfortable.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not bill insurance on your behalf. Some women decide to submit their receipts for possible reimbursement, though not every plan covers it. Private pay also gives us freedom to decide the pace and focus of your sessions without outside rules.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
If you reach out at least 24 hours ahead, we will reschedule without charge. With less notice, there may be a fee, though I always try to find solutions that keep your care steady.
Is virtual therapy effective?
Yes. Studies show that online therapy is as effective as in-person work. Many clients tell me they even prefer it because it removes commute stress and allows them to open up more easily from familiar surroundings.
How do I know if this is the right fit?
The right fit shows up in how you feel. If you leave sessions with more clarity, less pressure, and a sense of being truly seen, therapy is serving you well. That is always my goal in this work.
