Therapy in View Park–Windsor Hills  | Counselor  Dr. Jacquelyn Johnson

I offer Christian therapy and executive coaching for high achieving Black women and women of color who are deeply capable, highly responsible, and emotionally exhausted beneath the surface. This work is for women who lead in their families, careers, churches, and communities while quietly carrying stress, burnout, anxiety, and spiritual guilt. My approach supports your mental health while honoring your faith, leadership, and full humanity.

View Park Windsor Hills is a community known for history, pride, and generational leadership. Many women here balance professional success with deep family ties, long standing community involvement, and faith based commitments. There is often an unspoken expectation to remain strong, composed, and dependable, leaving little room to rest or be emotionally honest

Women in this community choose this work because they are ready for support that respects both their strength and their need for care. You do not have to choose between faith and therapy, leadership and rest, or success and softness. Here, your needs are honored.

Ready to get started?

01

Clarify what’s no longer working

We’ll explore what’s bringing you in, the weight you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping will feel different. We start by exploring the patterns, roles, and beliefs that have been keeping you stuck in over-functioning, burnout, and emotional disconnection, especially those shaped by faith, culture, and performance.

02

Reclaim your voice and emotional truth

Together, we’ll begin to untangle the internalized narratives that say you have to be strong, silent, or selfless to be worthy. This is where you’ll practice honoring your needs, setting sacred boundaries, and telling yourself the truth, without shame.

03

Redefine your life from the inside out

As healing unfolds, we’ll build a more honest, faith-affirming relationship with yourself and your emotional world. You’ll walk away with tools to support your growth, rhythms that restore you, and a renewed sense of spiritual and emotional alignment.

FAQ about my counseling services

  • How does virtual therapy work?

Sessions take place online through a private and secure platform. Many clients appreciate the flexibility. Whether they’re between meetings, at home, or in a quiet corner, they can access care without adding a commute to their day.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I don’t bill insurance directly. Instead, I provide detailed receipts that some clients submit for possible reimbursement. Many women choose private pay because it allows us to focus on their needs, not the requirements of an insurance company.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

If you need to adjust your appointment, just let me know at least 24 hours in advance. That way, your spot can be opened to someone else, and you won’t be charged for a late cancellation.

  • Is virtual therapy effective?

Yes. Virtual therapy has been shown to be just as effective as in-person care. For many, being in their own environment makes it easier to relax and engage in the process.

  • How do I know if this is the right fit?

The right therapeutic fit is about more than credentials. It’s about connection. If you feel supported, understood, and safe to share your truth, then therapy is likely working for you. My role is to offer that grounding space where you can be both strong and honest.
