You built the career. The title.
The life everyone admires.
Now it's time to build yourself.
A 90-day 1:1 coaching container for high-achieving Black women who are ready to stop performing strength and start living.
What's Really Happening
You look like you have it all together. And you are exhausted from pretending that you do.
You've hit every goal you set for yourself — and somewhere along the way, you stopped being able to feel it. The achievements keep coming. The emptiness keeps growing.
You are the person everyone leans on. At work, at home, in your community. You've been so busy holding everyone else up that you've forgotten what it feels like to be held.
Ask you who you are outside of your title, your role, what you do for everyone around you — and you genuinely don't know how to answer that anymore.
You've hit a wall. Not a productivity problem. Not a planning problem. A you problem — in the most sacred sense of that word. Something has to change and you know it.
This isn't just burnout. This is what happens when a woman has been everything to everyone for so long that she's lost the thread back to herself.

The Strong Black Woman.
You know her. You've been her. She carries without complaint. She achieves without celebration. She gives without asking. She holds it together so everyone else can fall apart.
She's also a myth that was never designed with your wellbeing in mind.
You didn't choose this script. It was handed to you — by culture, by family, by every space that praised you for enduring and penalized you for needing. And you played the role so well that somewhere along the way, you started to believe it was just who you are.
It's not. And you already know that — which is why you're here.
The work we do together isn't about slowing down or doing less. It's about finally learning to live for yourself with the same commitment and excellence you've given to everyone else.

Before The Reclamation
You say yes when every cell in your body is screaming no
You apologize for taking up space, having needs, or asking for help
You achieve another milestone and feel nothing — or worse, feel more pressure
You can describe everyone else's needs in perfect detail but go blank when someone asks what you need
Rest feels like something you have to earn. Joy feels selfish. You feel like you're constantly running out of yourself
After The Reclamation
You say no clearly, kindly, and without the three-paragraph explanation
You ask for what you need — from your team, your family, your partner — and you believe you deserve to receive it
You actually celebrate your wins — because you're fully present, not already onto the next thing
You know who you are outside of what you do for others — and you like her
Rest is no longer a reward. It's a right. You move through your weeks with intention, not just momentum.
The Reclamation
A 90-day private coaching experience designed to help you rebuild the most important relationship you've been neglecting — the one with yourself.
01
Who Are You Without the Role?
We begin where most women have never been asked to begin — with you. Not your title. Not your responsibilities. You. Your opening session is a deep excavation of identity, values, and what you've been quietly trading away.
02
The Narrative Shift
The stories you carry about who you have to be are powerful — and they can be rewritten. Through six bi-weekly sessions, we identify the patterns, the scripts, and the places where you've been shrinking yourself. Then we build new ones.
03
Real-Time Support
Breakthroughs don't wait for your next session. Voxer access between calls means you have a thinking partner when the real moments happen — when you're standing in the hallway before a hard conversation, or sitting with a feeling you don't have words for yet.
04
Your New Story
We close with integration. Not a summary — a declaration. Who are you now? What do you want? What are you no longer available for? Your final session is about the woman who walks out of this container and what she's decided to build next.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jacquelyn Johnson, PsyD, ACC
Credentials: Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist, ICF ACC Certified Coach
Experience: 10+ years in clinical psychology
Specialization: High-achieving Black women, burnout, identity reclamation, the Strong Black Woman schema
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Therapy: California residents only
Coaching: available globally via Zoom
I became a psychologist because I understood — from the inside — what it meant to perform strength while quietly coming undone. I've sat with hundreds of high-achieving Black women who came in talking about work stress and left talking about who they'd become in the service of everyone else's comfort.
My clients don't need to be fixed. They need to be found.
What I bring to coaching is rare: a decade of clinical training in the specific psychological patterns that keep high-achieving Black women stuck — the Strong Black Woman schema, perfectionism, over-functioning, the chronic over-giving that masquerades as strength — combined with the coaching tools to actually move forward.
This isn't therapy. You won't be processing the past indefinitely. You'll be using what you already know about yourself to build the life you've been postponing.
You've spent years showing up for everyone else. I built this container for the woman who is finally ready to show up for herself.
Frequently asked questions
I don't have time to add one more thing to my plate.
I know. That's exactly what concerns me. Because what you're describing is a schedule built entirely around everyone else's needs — and zero margin for your own. The Reclamation isn't one more thing on your plate. It's the work that makes everything else sustainable. Six sessions over 90 days. That's less than one hour every two weeks dedicated to the rest of your life.
I should be able to figure this out on my own.
You've been figuring things out on your own your entire life. And it's gotten you here — exhausted, high-achieving, and still waiting for things to feel different. The belief that asking for help is weakness is one of the core narratives we dismantle in this work.
The most high-performing people on the planet have coaches. That's not a coincidence. Investing in support isn't a sign that you can't handle it. It's a sign that you're done white-knuckling through your own life.
Is coaching different from therapy? Will this actually work?
Yes — and this distinction matters. Therapy focuses on healing; coaching focuses on building. If you're in active crisis or need clinical support, therapy is the right first step. I offer therapy as well — note that therapy services are available to California residents only, as that's where I'm licensed.
Coaching, however, is available to you wherever you are in the world. If you're functional, high-performing, and ready to design something different — The Reclamation is where that transformation happens. What makes this container different is that I bring 10+ years of clinical psychology into the coaching room. You get the depth of a therapist and the momentum of a coach.
Can I justify spending this much on myself?
The fact that you just asked that question — rather than "can I afford this?" — tells me everything. This isn't a financial question. It's the exact question this work is designed to answer: do you believe you're worth investing in? How much longer can you afford to stay where you are?
How does virtual coaching work?
All sessions are held virtually via a secure, private video platform. You’ll receive a link before each session—just click and join from wherever you are. Each session is 60 minutes long. Between sessions, you’ll have access to optional support via Voxer and/or email for in-the-moment support.
What technology do I need?
You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone—like a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Headphones are helpful for privacy but not required.
Can I use insurance to pay for coaching?
Coaching is not a medical or clinical service and is not covered by insurance. Unlike therapy, it doesn’t involve diagnosis, treatment, or clinical documentation. Coaching is an investment in your personal and professional evolution—offering the flexibility and privacy that insurance-based models can't.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled within 24 hours can be rescheduled within your 90-day container — extensions are not available, and sessions do not carry over beyond that window. Exceptions are made for emergencies.
This coaching container is built on mutual respect, care, and clear boundaries — because how we honor time here becomes practice for how you honor it everywhere else in your life.
You've held everything together for everyone else. It's your turn now.
The Reclamation is for the woman who is done waiting for the right time. The right time is now. You deserve it.
