You don't have to keep holding your pain alone.

I know you've been doing the best with the knowledge and skills you have.

I also know that it hasn't been enough to address the deeper pain and struggle that no one else knows about.

The days of you being over-committed, over-functional, and hyper-independent are on borrowed time.

Let's get to work building the life that serves you well.

session cost

  • $250/50 minutes

    I also accept Lyra EAP.

  • 3-month Commitment: $3150

    6-month commitment: $6000

so, how do we start this thing?

  • We will meet for a free 20-minute consultation via Zoom.

I'll ask you some questions about your concerns and answer any questions you may have about me or the therapy process.

At the end of the session, we’ll decide if we would be a good fit to work together.

It is just as important that you get a feel for me, as I you.

If I don’t believe that I’m the best therapist for you I will let you know.

And if you decide I'm not for you, no hard feelings ...I am not everyone's cup of tea and that is okay!

  • If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule a 50-minute intake.

Prior to the appointment you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire to complete.

The first few sessions will entail us reviewing your responses so that I can begin to learn you.

The process ends with us creating clear goals that will guide our time together.

  • After the intake we will either meet weekly or bi-weekly to begin to address the goals you’ve identified.

Sessions are 50-minutes long and typically begin with me asking about how you’ve been.

I’ll then ask if you’d like to pick up where we left off at the last session or if there’s something new that you’d like to process.

As you know life be lifing, and sometimes we need to take a detour to address an unexpected event or situation.

Sessions end with either an agreement to practice a skill you’ve been learning or reflect on what challenged you in the session.

  • I do not offer a sliding scale at this time.

  • Many people experience an immense sense of hope after the first few sessions.

It can be profound to have a space to release your burdens and feel seen and heard for the first time in a long time.

  • Every person's journey is unique.

While it's impossible to give an exact number, the goal is not to keep you in therapy forever.

In fact, research has shown that most people experience the most gain within the first few sessions!

  • This is a common fear and is symptomatic of the reality that many of us have been so other-focused that we are disconnected from ourselves.

    But no worries!

My job is to ask the questions and trust me, there's more on the inside of you waiting to be expressed than you know.

  • Session typically begins with a brief check-in on how you’ve been since the last session. This might include catching me up on the latest happenings of your life or kikiing about whatever current event.

I’ll then ask you what’s on the agenda for the day—always focusing on your goals.

We’ll either pick up where we left off the previous session or discuss a new event you want to process.

At the end of session, we may discuss plans to practice a skill you’re working on or journaling and reflecting on insights gained.

To Clients And Prospective Clients: Notice Of Your Right To A Good Faith Estimate

The federal “No Surprises Act” grants consumers the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much their medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers, including psychotherapists, must give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for treatment services.

The act also requires healthcare providers, including psychotherapists, to inform their clients of this right. Additionally, this act requires that information regarding the availability of a “Good Faith Estimate” must be prominently displayed on the website of all health care providers, including psychotherapists.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask all of your health care providers, including your therapist and other providers from whom you seek treatment, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises/.
